Main Responsibilities:

The Lead Solution Architect is responsible for working with Unisys clients to design and implement solutions related Unisys portfolio offerings. These solutions cover a broad range of partner products that Unisys offers its clients and requires an architect with a broad range of knowledge, a high level of experience, and the ability to apply that knowledge and experience to quickly adapt to changing customer needs and an evolving set of solutions.

An LSA is a known as a Strategist and is a recognized authority internally and externally on leading-edge technologies, theories, and techniques. Provides innovative solutions to complex and critically sensitive issues affecting multiple disciplines and work groups.

Required experience:
 

 

  • Extensive demonstrable experience of directly related experience, working in a presales or solution selling organization with global experience.
  • Recognized expert in at least three of the technical expertise areas listed below
    • Infrastructure
      • Server Operating System, Database / Information Management, Networks, Security, End User Technology (Desktop, Laptop, Tablet, Mobile), Virtualization (Server, Desktop, Application), Infrastructure and Device Monitoring, Mobility Solutions
    • Software & Applications
      • Database / Information Technology, Application and Data Security, Application Platforms, Application Integration, Enterprise Content Management, Mobility Solutions, etc.
    • Business Process
      • Enterprise Architecture / Business Architecture, Business Strategy Planning and Execution, Business Process Reengineering, Management and/or Simulation, Business Operations and / or Business Domain, etc.
      • Experience in project management including managing and motivating technical personnel.
      • Possesses strong product, technology, and industry knowledge.
      • Experience with design and developing conceptual, logical, and technical architecture models.
      • Knowledgeable on industry standards such as TOGAF, ITIL, ISO Standards, Zachman, etc.
      • Fluent in English and German
